The Director General of PEN said that Indonesia's participation in the Arab Health 2024 exhibition in Dubai was a very right decision. This is considering that PEA already has a trade agreement with Indonesia through I-UAE CEPA. In addition, PEA is a fairly large market considering Dubai's position as a hub for trade in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Europe.
The Arab Health 2024 exhibition is an annual health product exhibition that has been held for 49 years in Dubai. This exhibition is one of the largest medical equipment product exhibitions in the world which is targeted to be attended by more than 110,000 visitors from various countries.
The global market opportunity for hospital furniture products is still quite promising. This is because the world demand for the product has experienced an average growth of 6.91% per year for the last 5 years. Not only the world demand is growing positively, the global revenue of hospital furniture products is projected to grow by 4.8% per year from 2024 to 2032.
In this activity, the Director General of PEN was accompanied by the Indonesian General of Dubai, Candra Negara; Director of Manufacturing Product Export Development, Dewi Rokhayati; and the Head of ITPC Dubai, Muhammad Khomaini.
